  1. We've been reading Jared's updates (nice work Jared) and are so glad that things have went, and are going, as well as they have so far. Tracie - you're amazing. The more we learn about the ordeal, the more we realize how strong you two are. You guys were so low key about this procedure leading up to it - it seemed more like a simple root canal than a surgery that must include incisions in the range of 16-25 inches. You are in our prayers and thoughts. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help either of you or your children whether it's now or in the coming weeks. Selenia & Jared

  2. Tracie and Jared,
We are glad to hear things are going well and we hope that you continue to heal fast. I am impressed by Jared's soft side. Scout activities don't provide a lot of tender moments to express ones feelings, so I am glad to hear them here. I will check in to see what I can do to help (and I know there is always something I can do), and Amy expresses her love and thanks for Tracie and for the kindness you have always shown her. We wish you a speedy recovery and will continue to pray for your health and safety.

  3. Tracie and Jared,

We have included you in our family prayers every night. And have been glued to your blog. :) Thanks for keeping us all updated.

My kids thought you might like to hear a joke to brighten your day...one that might make you smile but not laugh too hard. Allison (my 8-year old) wanted to tell you this one.

Q: If there were 9 copy cats on a boat and one jumped off, how many would be left?

A: None, because they all copied the first one.

Okay, that's more like a laffy taffy joke, but hopefully you feel loved!!

So glad to hear you're healing so well. Tracie, soon this hospital stay will be just a memory and you'll be home safe and sound! Take Care!

    Sincerely,
    JaNae, Keith and family
